Maze of Life

Suffocated by thoughts, bewildered by emotions
Elated by sense of achievement
Fueled by thirst to prove
Finding the the purpose of what just v passed
Looking for a purpose in what would happen
Shaken off balance, by the questions that come
Unanswered, yet unshaken, questions they remain.
Time that travelled faster than thought,
Seeks to test the lessons it taught.
No revision, no going back to the topics again
I cannot fail the test of, time yet again.
Stakes are higher, bids are shooting
Resources have been traded, nothing new to the game,
Much higher though, accepted it still remains.
Expectations on trade, can't loose them now,
Gained, lost, regained it, somehow
Smile that broadened once, have begun to fade.
The clock is ticking, after all it is a race
Prove it or be forfeited for good, it says
I painted the roses, thorns were ignored
An artist just paints the future of his thought,
The thought is beautiful, reality needs congruation
Options are many, I don't see them somehow
Ball is in my court, I got to play now
The game is interesting, all want to watch.
Every move is monitored, Now play your best shot.
I can and will do it now
Waiting and wanting, you have been for long
I know the game has to begin and the show must go on.
I ask not much, that I cannot say,
Every thing I ask, will now be debt that needs to be repaid.
Interest on the capital has been mounting high
Just the thought has been sending shivers down my spine.
Please give me some space or I cannot fly.
Allegations all true, no innocence I plead.
Lost in the maze, my vision is bleak.
